After you have booked your appointment, we begin by listening.

You can bring sketches, photographs, reference pieces, gemstones, or simply an idea. During this conversation, we explore your style, story, and intended investment so we can guide you in the right direction from the very beginning

2. Design Development

Crafting the Concept
We work together to refine your ideas into a fully developed design.

Mark will bring all his 40+ years expertise and advise on proportion, durability, practicality, metal combinations, and aesthetic balance — ensuring the piece not only looks beautiful but will last a lifetime.

3. Visualisation

Seeing your pieces before it's made
Before crafting begins, you may receive a 3D CAD render, a silver model, or prototype, depending on the complexity.

This stage allows for adjustments and ensures your design is perfect before we move forward.


4. Crafting Your Jewellery

Made by hand, start to finish
Once approved, Mark begins the making process in the in-house workshop.

Every element — from forging and forming to setting and finishing — is completed by hand. We keep you updated throughout, so you’re part of your piece’s journey.

Our minimum investment for new ONLINE bespoke commissions is £5,000. Every bespoke piece requires significant design time, consultation, and handcrafting. This minimum ensures we can dedicate the level of skill, attention, and resources necessary to create an heirloom-quality piece. Please note: This limit does not apply to in-store commissions, we will continue to serve our loyal customers with the same care and dedication you're accustomed to.

 

Yes. We can often incorporate your existing gemstones, or reuse precious metals where suitable. Old jewellery can also be redesigned into something new.During your consultation, Mark will assess your materials and advise what’s safe, durable, and appropriate for the design.

Most bespoke commissions take 8–12 weeks, depending on complexity. Large diamond pieces or technically advanced designs may require additional time. We will always give you a realistic timeframe during your consultation.

Yes — for bespoke commissions, a private appointment is essential.This ensures you have dedicated time with Mark and Michelle to discuss design, materials, and your vision. For simple repairs, an appointment isn’t required.

Some clients bring detailed sketches, others bring a single inspiration image, and many bring just an idea. We refine your vision into a professional concept and guide you through what will work best.

Yes. Depending on the project, you will receive a 3D CAD render, a silver model, or a wax prototype before fabrication begins. You’ll have the opportunity to request adjustments to ensure the piece is perfect.

We work exclusively with precious metals, including: Platinum, Gold (yellow, white, rose) and Silver Mark will recommend the most suitable metal for your design and lifestyle.
